SUMMARY Melinda is entering her high school years – yet she is all alone. Out casted, simply because people believed she called the cops and ruined an end of the summer party, she faces the difficulty of anyone hearing the shocking truth of what really happened to her that night. Throughout her freshman year, Melinda tackles many challenges that most teenagers face: fake friends, rumors and not having enough self-confidence. When she finally gets the courage to tell her story, she, also, gets the courage to stand up to the evil beast that left her in the dark.
